Avenay-Val-d’Or LEGENDARY VALLEY
It’s in a valley, surrounded by vineyards, perforated by wood and crossed by the Livre, that one discovers Avenay-val-d’Or. The legends around St Berthe, who founded an abbey in the 7th century, are alive and well.
To the east, a natural area with grassland and pine trees is home of many wild orchids.
