The cancellation date is the date when the Tourist Office receives the Client’s request (no justification is required). No cancellation fees apply if the contract is cancelled due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances at or near the destination, with a major impact on the trip. In such cases, the Tourist Office will refund all payments made, with no additional compensation.

Article 11.2 – Cancellation by the Tourist Office

The Tourist Office may cancel the contract at any time before the start of the service. The Client will then be entitled to compensation equivalent to what the Tourist Office would have owed if the cancellation had been initiated by the Client (see Article 8.1).

However, no compensation is due if the cancellation occurs in the following cases:

  1. The number of participants is below the minimum required as stated in the contract. In this case, the Tourist Office will notify the Client by email or letter within the following time limits:

    • 20 days before the start of the trip for stays longer than 6 days;

    • 7 days before the start of the trip for stays of 2 to 6 days;

    • 48 hours before the start of the trip or service for stays of no more than 2 days.

  2. The Tourist Office cannot fulfil the contract due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances (e.g. severe weather, health measures such as Covid-19 restrictions, demonstrations or strikes). In such cases, the Client will be informed as soon as possible by email or written notice.

Article 12 – Transfer of the Contract

12.1 – Right to Transfer
The Client may transfer the contract to another person who meets the same conditions, provided the contract has not yet taken effect.

12.2 – Notice Period
The Client must inform the Tourist Office of the transfer, using a method that provides proof of receipt, at least 7 days before the start of the trip. No prior approval from the organizer or retailer is required.

12.3 – Joint Responsibility
Both the original Client and the new participant are jointly responsible for payment of the remaining balance and any additional costs resulting from the transfer.
